At the early stage, thyroid cancer does not always have signs, it makes hard to diagnose and detect the cancer. Once the cancer grows and metastasized, it is more likely to cause symptoms.

Based on the type, location and stage of thyroid cancer, the symptoms do vary. However, thyroid cancer is relatively rare and symptoms are most often caused by another condition such as thyroid diseases that may produce look like thyroid cancer symptoms.

Some of the symptoms that may point to thyroid cancer include the following:

1. Swollen Lymph Node:

Thyroid cancer can spread to the lymph nodes, which are scattered throughout your body to help you fight infection and caused it swollen.

2. Thyroid lump

Thyroid lumps are very common in adult. Women over 70 often 9 out of 10 between them will have these lumps. Only about 1 in 20 thyroid lumps are cancer. Cancerous thyroid lumps are not usually painful.

3. Throat Pain:

If you have persistence throat pain for long period, you should go to see your doctor. It’s a possible symptom of thyroid cancer.

4. Other symptoms

The thyroid cancer can present with other signs such as neck enlargement that causing difficulty breathing or swallowing, hoarseness, cough, or weight loss.
